This exhibition showcases the artist's hand embroidery across a variety of subjects, from vintage illustrations  to handwritten notes and lyrics.

Laura is best known for her figurative works, which are drawn from life using a single illustrative line and often rendered in seconds, resulting in images that celebrate the energy and spirit of her sitters, free from the male gaze.

The images are then replicated in stitch; a method which is intentionally laborious yet therapeutic, and references the traditionally feminine nature of this art form.
